18th International Children’s Painting Competition on the Environment. The 18th International Children's Painting Competition on the Environment was organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Japan-based Foundation for Global Peace and Environment (FGPE), Bayer AG and Nikon Corporation. Regional winners were announced starting on 22 April 2009 and global winners will be announced at the venue of the 2009 Tunza International Children’s Conference on the Environment in Daejeon, the Republic of Korea from the 17 to 20 August 2009.
